On December 2019, members of the EXTEMIT-K, Dr. Anna Jirošová and her PhD. student Barbora Stříbrská visited the BOKU University in Vienna, Austria. Our aim was discussing our future experiment with Dr. Sigrid Netherer in the Kostelec nad Černými Lesy plots, and learn the methodology of the planned experiment, which will be synchronize with Dr, Netherer’s work. Barbora Stříbrská has a meeting with Petr Zábranský, who is expert for the bark beetle breeding, to learn about the bark beetle breeding set up in the BOKU rearing facility. This visit was really valuable for designing of the experiment planned in the Extemit project and we are glad that we had the opportunity to establish this cooperation.
